The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a home invasion robbery in which armed individuals claiming to be FBI agents detained a Jurupa Valley family.

Footage from the residents’ Ring doorbell camera posted on social media seems to indicate that the masked, armed suspects approached the property in the 5000 block of Manline Drive at approximately 9:48 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23. That location is north of Limonite Avenue, east of the 15 Freeway.

Deputies arrived at the residence at 9:59 p.m., said sheriff’s Public Information Officer Sgt. Robert Martinez by email. According to Martinez, the armed individuals entered the residence claiming to be FBI agents and restrained the victims while searching the home and eventually left with the victims’ property.
