EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- The Evansville Wartime Museum held its third day of a children's storytelling event earlier today.
This is the first year the museum has had an event like this. Alongside its other Halloween decorations this year the museum invited local celebrities to come and read to children.
Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry and Eyewitnesses News’ Ange Humphrey are just a few people who were involved. In addition to story telling the event also included scavenger hunts and a halloween graveyard.
"Once you're here for a fun event, then we'd like to invite you to understand what your forefathers did for the war effort,” Education Coordinator Nancy Sanderson said. “Evansville did a tremendous amount of work and the work ethic and the dedication and the sacrifices they put into
