Delhi continues to breathe ‘toxic’ air on Sunday as the Air Quality Index was recorded at 324 under ‘poor’ quality at 9 am. In view of the deteriorating pollution levels, the government plans to carry out artificial rain next week. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the capital will receive Light Rain or Drizzle on October 27 and 28. There is a possibility that the city will experience its first artificial rain on October 29.
The deteriorating air quality has raised concerns among residents and authorities, as most areas in Delhi were registered to be in the red zone.
