Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry challenged LSU and the university's Board of Supervisors over plans to raise season ticket prices for the 2026 season following the Tigers' 49-25 defeat to Texas A&M.
The board approved a measure Friday that would increase tickets by up to $125, bringing in more than an estimated $4.5 million in revenue.
On Saturday night, Landy took to X to address the price increase following a lopsided loss to the Aggies.
"I think @LSUsports and the LSU Board of Supervisors needs to rethink their actions to raise ticket prices for next year after tonight's showing!," Landry said in his post.
Landry's statement is likely to raise eyebrows among LSU officials and fans as pressure builds on head coach Brian Kelly and the rest of his program.
