EAST LANSING, MI — “Hail!” to the victors again.

No. 25 Michigan football defeated the Michigan State Spartans in a tense rivalry game in East Lansing Saturday night.

For the fourth straight year, the Paul Bunyan Trophy will be kept in Ann Arbor after a 31-20 win for the Wolverines.

Michigan’s running game did the heavy lifting as the team went for 276 yards and scored all four touchdowns on the ground. Justice Haynes returned after missing last week’s game against Washington and ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.
