LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lexington.
The Lexington Police Department says the crash happened just after 11 p.m. on Georgetown Street at Price Road, near Douglass Park.
Police say when they arrived at the scene, they found a male bicyclist and administered CPR. However, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The bicyclist has not been identified.
Police say the car that hit the bicyclist has not been found and that its driver has not been identified.
The Lexington Police Department says it is still investigating the crash and will close the roadway until approximately 3-4 a.m. while its Collision Reconstruction Unit reconstructs the crash.
