The missed kick in the second quarter last Sunday seemed destined to be an irrelevance by the end of the third quarter. The New York Giants were cruising to a mammoth victory against the Broncos in Denver anyway. They were leading 19-0 in front of a shocked 76,000 spectators late in the third.
