Manchester City head to Aston Villa on Sunday looking to continue their recent momentum that has catapulted them right back into the title race.

The Blues are nine games unbeaten in all competitions and cruised past Villarreal in midweek in the Champions League . Pep Guardiola shuffled his pack somewhat in Spain but will likely revert to type for the trip to the Midlands.

Gianluigi Donnarumma will continue in goal while Nico O'Reilly can come back in at left back given Josko Gvardiol was unconvincing in that position against Villarreal in midweek. The Croat can move inside and partner Ruben Dias with John Stones dropping out. Matheus Nunes was praised by Pep Guardiola in the build-up to this game and is set to retain his place at right back.
