Heavy rains are set to lash out at various parts of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu from Monday onwards, ahead of Cyclone Montha making landfall along India's eastern coast on Tuesday.

This is because the depression over the southeast Bay of Bengal was moving north-westwards and is expected to develop into a cyclonic storm by Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday.
