India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today.

IMD has further predicted thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds over Telangana, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep during the next two to three days. The Weather agency has also forecast squally weather to prevail over southwestern parts of west central Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas for the next three days.
