Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 26 (ANI): President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday inaugurated the Yashoda Medicity Hospital in Ghaziabad , lauding the institution for aligning with national health priorities and taking the lead in tuberculosis elimination and sickle cell anaemia initiatives.
Speaking at the event, the President said, "Yashoda Hospital has adopted national priorities with full devotion... This hospital has been established as the first centre in North India under the System for TB Elimination in the Private Sector (STEPS)... I would like this institution to contribute as much as possible to the national initiatives related to sickle cell anaemia... The leadership of this institution prioritises the ideals of social service and national service..."
