The French Police arrested two suspects in connection with the audacious Louvre jewellery heist on Saturday evening amid dwindling hope of a recovery.
According to a report by Le Parisien newspaper, the two suspects were arrested by the French police on Saturday evening. Sources told the publication that they were now being questioned. One of the two suspects was about to leave the country and was arrested at Charles de Gaulle airport at about 10 p.m. on Saturday. Another suspect was arrested later in the evening in the Seine-Saint-Denis suburb north of Paris.
