Andhra Pradesh police confirmed on Sunday that both individuals on the bike, who caused the Kurnool bus accident, were intoxicated. The bike had already met with an accident. The bike rider, Harishankar, had died after colliding with a road divider.
Before Swami, who was sitting behind, could remove the bike and Shankar lying on the road, a speeding bus arrived. The bike got stuck in the bus and was dragged for about 200 meters, causing its fuel tank to burst and catch fire.
