WESTFIELD, Ind. — A home in Westfield is left damaged after a fire broke out Saturday night .
The Westfield Fire Department said crews responded to a house fire on Amberleaf Trail around 10:15 p.m. Oct. 25.
When crews arrived on scene, they said they saw flames through the roof of the home, and worked for the next hour to try and put out the flames.
The department said the home sustained fire, smoke and water damage. At this time, there's no damage estimate available.
Luckily, there were no injures reported.
The homeowners were alerted to the fire by their smoke alarms, the department said, which "played a critical role in their safe evacuation."
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
