Third-seeded Notre Dame defeated sixth-seeded Steinert 2-0 behind an early scoring attack in the quarterfinal round of the Colonial Valley Conference Tournament in Lawrenceville.
Anna Guido and Avery Whittle each scored a goal for Notre Dame, while Kate Moog recorded six saves to secure the shutout as the defense locked down in the second half for the victory.
Notre Dame (13-6) will face second-seeded Allentown at Hopewell Valley in the semifinal round on Thursday at 5 p.m. Steinert (9-8) will travel to Freehold Township on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
