LOWER OXFORD TOWNSHIP, PA (KYW-TV) -- One person is dead and six others are injured after a shooting Saturday night on the campus of Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, which is located 50 miles from Philadelphia.

It happened during homecoming festivities near the school's football field.

Authorities say one person, who was in possession of a gun, is in custody.

The school was placed on lockdown, which has since been lifted.
