Veteran actor Satish Shah , known for his role as Indravadhan Sarabhai in Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai , was laid to rest on Sunday, October 26, following his death due to kidney failure. Shah, aged 74, collapsed while having lunch on Saturday, as confirmed by his manager Ramesh Kadatala.

At the funeral, his on-screen family gathered to pay a moving tribute. Co-stars Rupali Ganguly , Rajesh Kumar , Sumeet Raghavan , along with writer Aatish Kapadia , actor Deven Bhojani, and producer JD Majethia, sang the iconic title track of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai for one final time. The song, originally sung by Usha Uthup, which usually brought smiles to viewers, took on a deeply emotional tone during the ceremony.
