Phillipsburg is adding a new tradition to its historic Thanksgiving Day football rivalry with Easton by hosting a Pre-Game Tailgate and Big-Screen Watch Party on Thursday, Nov. 27.

The event, organized by the Town of Phillipsburg and the Phillipsburg Urban Enterprise Zone , is scheduled to take place on Riverside Way near the Easton-Phillipsburg free bridge from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., or whenever the game and victory celebration conclude.

For fans with tickets to the game, a free shuttle service is planned to transport spectators to and from Lafayette College’s Fisher Stadium, where the 118th Championship of the Delaware River kicks off at 10:30 a.m.

Those without tickets can watch the game on a giant screen at the riverside location, with live television coverage provided by WFMZ-TV 69.
