Donald Trump's senior director for counterterrorism was just caught "partying" on the job, according to one of the president's allies.
MAGA influencer Laura Loomer, who is known to have to ear of the president and has been called the Trump Whisperer, took to social media over the weekend to condemn Sebastian Gorka, who also serves as a deputy assistant to the president. Specifically, Loomer focused the official reportedly attending the grand opening for the US Embassy of Qatar in DC.
"I have watched the video posted by the [Qatar US embassy] for their grand opening, and this looks exactly like Gorka and his wife. Care to comment, Sebastian?" she wrote Saturday. "Gorka is the Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism. Why is the Senior Director for Counterterrorism attending parties in DC with the Qataris, the funders of the Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS?"
Loomer continued, saying, "The leaders of HAMAS have been harbored in DOHA by the Qatari royal family. It was Qatar that protected HAMAS while they held US Citizens hostage in GAZA."
"Is this why the Muslim Brotherhood still hasn’t been designated as a foreign terrorist organization? Because our counter terrorism officials are being wined and dined by the funders of global Islamic jihad? This is not good!" she added. "The Director of Counter terrorism should NOT be partying with people who fund Islamic terrorism. The Qataris have completely infiltrated our counter terrorism apparatus in the federal government. They fund the Muslim Brotherhood and they are working overtime to buy influence with US officials so that the Muslim Brotherhood is not designated as a foreign Islamic terrorist organization. This is a terrible look for the US and it’s very damning for our counter terrorism efforts."
In a separate post, Loomer asked, "Why is our Director of Counter terrorism [Gorka] partying with officials from the Embassy of Qatar while our FBI and [ICE] have been arresting terrorists from HAMAS on US soil. Who do you think funded HAMAS?"
