Approval has been given for a Nedlands home to be replaced by four townhouses.
City of Nedlands commissioners approved at their September 16 meeting a proposal to create four two-storey grouped dwellings that will replace an existing single-storey dwelling on the 809sqm property at 22 Tyrell Street, Nedlands.
The application was first lodged with the city in April, and revised in June and July.
Amendments included changes to the landscape plan, increasing the setback and open space, moving air-conditioning units, and adding a study nook to three of the dwellings and storerooms to all of them.
The city’s design review panel had some concerns with the initial proposal but supported it with those amendments.
