If you've been strolling down UK high streets of late, you've likely spotted a surge in shop closures and vacant units.

Shoppers nationwide are witnessing significant shifts in 2025 as three of the UK's most recognisable retailers, Morrisons , Poundland , and Homebase, are set to shutter a combined total of 201 stores this year.

Morrisons, the UK's fifth-largest supermarket chain, is poised to close numerous Morrisons Daily convenience stores and Morrisons Cafés, alongside Market Kitchens, florists, meat counters, fish counters, and pharmacies.
