There’s a big update in the Louvre heist story!
Two men in their 30s have reportedly been arrested on Saturday (October 25) near Paris, France, according to a new report.
Earlier this month, some of France’s prized crown jewels worth an estimated $102 million were stolen from the legendary museum in broad daylight.
Le Parisien reports that the suspects hail from the Seine-Saint-Denis suburb are were taken into custody, per USA Today .
One of the suspects was about to leave to Algeria from Charles de Gaulle airport, according to the report. There were no further details given, and the prosecutor condemned the fact that the arrests were even made public already.
