ATLANTA — Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is dealing with an illness Sunday morning before his team gets set to face the Atlanta Falcons.
The Dolphins announced Sunday morning, more than three hours before the 1 p.m. kickoff at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, that Tagovailoa was being added to the injury report with the undisclosed illness.
Miami’s starting quarterback, though, has no game status designation and is expected to start against the Falcons.
Tagovailoa is trying to rebound from back-to-back three-interception games , the second instance while throwing for just 100 yards in an ugly 31-6 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
