YPSILANTI, Mich. — Parker Navarro threw two touchdown passes to Chase Hendricks, Sieh Bangura ran for two scores and Ohio defeated Eastern Michigan 28-21 on Saturday.
After trailing by seven points at halftime, the Bobcats (5-3, 3-1 Mid-American Conference) put together a strong second half in which they had touchdown drives of 67, 70 and 69 yards. Bangura had two short touchdown runs sandwiched around Navarro's 14-yard TD pass to Hendricks for a 28-14 lead in the fourth quarter.
Nick Devereaux caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Noah Kim with 1:39 remaining in the game but the Eagles (2-7, 1-4) did not get the ball back.
Navarro completed 23 of 28 passes for 315 yards with the two touchdowns. He was intercepted twice. Bangura had 100 yards on the ground and Navarro added 63. Hendricks
