Two charged following vehicle pursuit that began in Batavia

BATAVIA - A driver faces several charges and a passenger two charges after a high-speed chase Thursday that began on Veterans Memorial Drive, the Genesee County Sheriff's Office said Saturday.

After Brandon C. Buzak, 42, and Jennifer K. Freeman, 41, both of Clinton Street Road, allegedly stole merchandise from Walmart, the vehicle pursuit began. It continued on the Thruway, State Route 77 and State Route 5 (Main Road). They were arrested on Main Road in the Town of Newstead.
