WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick stood alongside law enforcement officials from across Houston County on Saturday to confront a grim reality: 15 of the county's 16 homicides this year stemmed from domestic violence, claiming lives ranging from age 2 to 83.
The domestic violence awareness event at North Houston Sports Complex brought together survivors, law enforcement, and community supporters in a unified call to action. Sheriff Matt Moulton and police from Warner Robins, Centerville and Perry joined Patrick in speaking out against the violence that has devastated 13 families since January.
The county coroner addressed the toll on families left behind, emphasizing that many wished someone had made a call that might have saved a life. Law enforcement officials
