Indiana football is considered the No. 2 team in the nation by the majority of voters. Is anyone putting the Hoosiers No. 1?

ESPN's Bill Connelly compiles what he calls the "SP+ rankings," and today, Oct. 26, IU has moved up two places to No. 1. The Hoosiers leapfrogged Ohio State and Oregon — one of IU's victims this season.

IU demolished UCLA 56-6 on Saturday, while Ohio State had the weekend off and Oregon defeated struggling Wisconsin.

What is SP+?
