ESPN's Bill Connelly compiles what he calls the "SP+ rankings," and today, Oct. 26, IU has moved up two places to No. 1. The Hoosiers leapfrogged Ohio State and Oregon — one of IU's victims this season.
IU demolished UCLA 56-6 on Saturday, while Ohio State had the weekend off and Oregon defeated struggling Wisconsin.
