Howland graduate Tanner Scott will be watching the World Series instead of playing a part in it.

The 2012 graduate wasn't added to the fall classic roster prior to game one. The left handed closer was dropped from the Division Series roster following surgery earlier this month to remove an abscess from an infection on his lower body.

Scott signed a four year, $72 million dollar contract with Los Angeles prior to the start of the season.

In 61 games with the Dodgers Scott was 1-4 with 23 saves and a 4.74 ERA.
