RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A Powerball ticket sold at a gas station in Richmond for Saturday evening's drawing is now worth $2 million.

According to an Oct. 26 release from the Virginia Lottery, the winning numbers for the Friday, Oct. 25, Powerball drawing were 2-12-22-39-67, and the Powerball number was 15.

The winning ticket was reportedly purchased at the Wawa at 7316 Forest Hill Ave. in Richmond.

The Richmond ticket was the only ticket in Virginia that matched the first five numbers and missed only the Powerball number, which would not normally win $1 million. Lottery officials said that whoever purchased this particular ticket spent an extra $1 for Power Play when they bought it, doubling the prize to $2 million.
