The Miami Hurricanes picked up a bounce-back win over Stanford on Saturday , but it did not have an effect on their ranking.
Miami (6-1, 2-1 ACC) dropped one spot to No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll this week after the win . UM also dropped to No. 10 in the FWAA-NFF Super 16. The Hurricanes stayed at No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Vanderbilt moved up one spot, past UM, after beating ranked Missouri on Saturday. The Hurricanes are tied with BYU for the No. 10 spot.
The College Football Playoff rankings start on Nov. 4.
Miami has a favorable schedule going forward. The Hurricanes do not have a ranked team left on the schedule, and only one of their future opponents, Pittsburgh, even received votes in the AP poll.
