LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A man was arrested after he reportedly threatened a Walgreens employee with an ice pick on Saturday, according to Lincoln Police.
Police were called to a potential robbery near Dawson Creek Bay and Northwoods Drive at 9:57 p.m.
According to LPD, 19-year-old Trevan Buckles had entered a Walgreens with an icepick, grabbed an employee’s arm and demanded her keys.
LPD said as Buckles wrestled with the employee, another person came over and yelled at him, causing him to surrender. Police later arrived and Buckles was taken into custody without issue.
When police arrested Buckles, they found that he had loose cash on him. Police said Buckles had stolen the money from an Elleen’s Cookies near the Walgreens.
