The University of Saskatchewan Huskies and University of Regina Rams have put a bow on the 2025 Canada West football regular season this weekend.

The Rams fell to the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds 31-29 in overtime on Friday, dropping the Rams to 6-2 and second place in the standings.

The Huskies beat the University of Manitoba Bisons 31-12 on Saturday, moving the Huskies to 7-1 and first place.

It was a thrilling Friday night in Leibel Field in Regina, as the Rams opened the scoring with a rushing touchdown, and a safety near the end of the quarter saw Regina up 9-0 heading into the second .
