Copperhill residents who lost water on Sunday during a water leak on Belltown Road are being asked to boil all water for consumption "until further notice."

The City of Copperhill stated early in the afternoon that their water and sewer department was working to repair the leak.

City leaders thanked Copperhill Utilities customers for their patience and understanding.

Belltown Road was closed off to through traffic while crews worked. The city asked customers to conserve water until the issue was resolved.

Two hours after their first statement, they said the water leak had been repaired, but water should be boiled for now as a precautionary measure.
