LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Lawrence County Fire and Rescue responded to multiple service calls over the past 24 hours, including two structure fires.
LCFR said the first fire was reported in the West End area just after 3 p.m. Saturday. Crews responded to the scene and found a shop fully engulfed in flames. The fire had also spread to a nearby wooded area.
Crews were able to eventually get the fire extinguished. LCFR said a wood heater was being used at the time of the fire and cannot be ruled out as the cause at this time.
The property owners did sustain minor burn injuries in the fire, but they did not require EMS transport, LCFR said.
