STE. GENEVIEVE COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A Ste. Genevieve, Missouri man was hospitalized after a crash late Saturday night.

According to the Mo. State Highway Patrol crash report, the 40-year-old was driving a pickup truck southbound on Interstate 55 around 11 p.m. on October 25.

The driver lost control on a curve, travelled off the left side of the road and overturned.

He was seriously injured and had to be flown by Air Evac to St. Louis University Hospital.

MSHP said the vehicle was totaled, and he was not wearing a seat belt.
