The New York Giants will be operating without rookie running back Cam Skattebo for the remainder of the season after the injury he suffered in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles .

Skattebo very clearly suffered a significant injury, and the worst fears have officially been realized.

Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com reports that the Giants have revealed Skattebo has suffered a dislocated ankle , which means he will indeed miss the rest of the season. Skattebo will undergo more tests at the hospital.
