MT. PLESANT — Mt. Pleasant Police are investigating a drowning that happened Sunday morning at Island Park.

Officers were called to the scene around just after 8AM where they found a 47-year-old Mt. Pleasant man dead in the river.

Investigators said no foul play is suspected, but the case remains open.
