Schwarber will not be cheap, despite his age. He is going to turn 33 soon, and could be interested in maximizing his opportunity to win a World Series. Dave Dombrowski recently questioned whether Bryce Harper could ever return to elite status. With questions about Harper's superstar status, Schwarber may look for a better running mate in free agency.
