The New York Yankees took quite a large risk by trading for Chicago Cubs outfielder Cody Bellinger during last offseason, but it paid off in a huge way.

Bellinger was a massive contributor for the Yankees this season. He was the Robin to Aaron Judge's Batman. On the year, Bellinger slashed .272/.334/.480 with 29 home runs, five triples, and 25 doubles while being worth 5.0 WAR.

But the star outfielder has hit free agency after opting out of his contract with the Yankees. Now that he's in free agency, Spotrac projects him to sign a massive six-year deal worth $182 million this winter.

This kind of contract would substantially impact the Yankees' offseason.

It seems like the Yankees are going to look to land either Bellinger or the top free agent outfielder on the market, Kyle Tucker.
