Some MLB fans were caught off guard Saturday when the Jonas Brothers took the stage midway through the Dodgers’ eventual Game 2 win over the Blue Jays in the World Series.

Performing “I Can’t Lose” as part of the “Stand Up to Cancer” initiative, in which players, personnel and spectators hold up placards to pay tribute to those impacted by cancer, the pop trio was featured after the fifth inning — with the score tied at one apiece — resulting in some on social media expressing bewilderment over the timing of the in-game show, not the campaign itself.

“As touching as this moment was… doing it in the middle of the World Series Game 2 tie game?? And then randomly have the Jonas Brothers sing???” an X user posted.
