AVON — Eli Swift took a feed from Caden Leonard and buried it in overtime to send No. 4 Avon to a 2-1 win over No. 5 Canisteo-Greenwood in Saturday's Section V Class C1 quarterfinal.

The River Hawks opened the scoring on a through ball from Loenard that found Levi Hann. Hann put it away to give Avon a 1-0 lead. C-G responded with a goal late in the first half on a Carson Chafee goal.
