CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers' offensive lineman depth will be tested even further with one of the team's better players now sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Guard Brady Christensen suffered an Achilles injury in Sunday's 40-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills . Christensen was carted off the field in the fourth quarter and did not return.

Panthers coach Dave Canales believes Christensen ruptured his Achilles during the game.

"It's a significant [injury]. He's gonna be out," Canales said after the game. "It gives me a chance to talk about what he's meant to this group. The flexibility to play all across the line in different spots. We're really gonna miss Brady."

Christensen is in his fifth season with the Panthers. Carolina drafted him in the third round of the 2021 draf
