Crossroads star Tony Adams, famous for playing Adam Chance in the beloved soap opera, has passed away aged 84.
Adams died at Sussex County Hospital in Brighton on Saturday, with his devoted wife Christine at his bedside.
The programme concluded in 1988 following a remarkable run spanning more than 4,500 episodes, with Adams staying loyal to the show right until its finale.

He featured amongst the original cast alongside Jane Rossington and Kathy Staff, who all returned to reprise their characters when the soap was revived in 2001.
