Srinagar, Oct 26: The Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu and Kashmir (EJAC) has urged the government to address the long-pending demands of employees and take concrete steps toward their resolution.
In a statement, Senior Trade Union Leader and President EJAC, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam called upon the authorities of J&K administration to prioritize the welfare of employees, stressing that their well-being is vital for the smooth and efficient functioning of the government machinery.
Shabnam highlighted several key concerns, including the release of pending 3% Dearness Allowance (DA)in favour of employees, pointing out that the Central government has already granted the same benefit to its employees.
