A person was shot at a party in San Bernardino that drew some 300 people on Saturday evening, authorities said.

Police officers were already at the scene after an “unruly” party call in the vicinity of Massachusetts Avenue and Evans Street at around 10:30 p.m. when they heard two gunshots, San Bernardino police Lt. Chris Gray said, “and then they located a shooting victim amongst the party, who was shot one time.”

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Gray said. The gender and age of the victim were not available.

As of Sunday afternoon, no one was arrested and no weapon had been recovered, Gray said.

What prompted the shooting was unclear. Police are still investigating.
