Diane von Fürstenberg ’s decadeslong love story with Barry Diller continues to unfold.

While the couple wed in 2001, their romantic history dates back much further, which the fashion designer celebrated in a heartfelt post on social media.

“Today is the 50th anniversary of the BIG BANG !!! The day Barry and I fell in love !” she wrote on Instagram Oct. 25. “He opened the door of his heart and never closed it !”

And the 78-year-old has clearly embraced every chapter of her life with the businessman.
