LAMOINE -- With Halloween less than a week away community members and their four legged friends donned their best costumes for the return of a beloved race to support the SPCA of Hancock County.
The annual "Howl-O-Run" 5k in Lamoine drew a large crowd to Marlboro Beach this weekend. The Halloween themed race raises thousands to support animals across Hancock county.
"I'm pretty speechless here, I think this is the first one I've very done where you've got the start and finish here right along the actual beach," said runner Marc Radcliff.
"I like to see the dogs and their owners, some of them are dressed up," said race participant Joanne Getchell.
This year marks the 7th Annual Jim Nobil Howl-O-Run 5k.
