Princess Diana's brother had originally envisioned a completely different eulogy for her funeral service.
On September 6, 1997, Earl Spencer delivered a stirring tribute to the 2,000 mourners gathered at Westminster Abbey, whilst making a pointed dig at Diana's former in-laws within The Royal Family .
However, her brother, Charles, the ninth Earl Spencer, 61, has now disclosed he had initially planned an entirely different speech.

In the lead-up to the Royal ceremonial funeral, Earl Spencer had been journeying to London from Cape Town, where he was residing at the time, and a cabin crew member had assisted him as he was "in bits".
He had also been trawling through his address book seeking individuals
