South Franklin Street between West Northampton Street and West Market Street in Wilkes-Barre will be closed Monday from 7 a.m. until road work is completed.

Meters were bagged Sunday and no vehicles will be allowed to park on that block. Vehicles will be towed at 7 a.m.

The block of South Franklin Street will be open to local traffic only (Boscov’s and parkades).

Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic.
