OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — Lure Seafood and Grill is stepping up to support local federal employees affected by the government shutdown with special community dinners.

Federal workers in the area, including those from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Transportation Security Administration, are encouraged to enjoy a meal at a reduced price.

"We just wanted to do something for the folks in our community affected by this Federal Government Shutdown," Lure Seafood and Grill said. "To those affected we do hope you come have a nice meal at an affordable price in a nice place to feel a little normal in an uncertain time," said Lure Seafood and Grill.
